Community Resource Fair Coming to Cross Plains

Mark your calendars! The Cross Plains Housing Authority, in partnership with the West Texas Food Bank, is hosting the Cross Plains Community Resource Fair on Tuesday, January 28th, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This exciting event will take place at the Cross Plains Senior Center, located at 108 N. Main Street in Cross Plains, Texas.

This resource fair will provide invaluable assistance and information for the residents of Cross Plains, TX, and surrounding areas. Representatives from various organizations will be available to offer support and answer questions, including:

• Cross  Plains Housing Authority: Learn about affordable housing options and get help with applications and housing-related inquiries.

• Food  Bank of West Central Texas: Receive guidance on food assistance programs such as SNAP, TANF, and Medicaid. Experts will help with questions and application processes.

• Aging and Disability Resource Center: Obtain resources and referrals for elderly residents, including assistance with Social Security and Disability applications.

• United Way: Get connected to a range of community services and learn about the 2-1-1 Texas program, which helps individuals find local resources.

• South Plains Community Action: Apply for health insurance through the Marketplace and seek financial assistance for utilities and other essential needs.

• New Horizons: Discover foster care and adoption services designed to support children who have experienced abuse or neglect.

• Cross Plains Senior Center: Find out about upcoming events and other services tailored for senior residents.

• Centerwell Home Health:  Get information and apply for  home health services.
