Buffalo Crossing consists of four apartment units in an attached four-plex style design. There are two 1-bedroom / 1-bath units each with 884 square feet of living space and a small front and back porch. The 2-bedroom / 1-bath units have 1,112 square feet of living space and similar porches. A total of eight parking spaces are provided in front of the four-plex, two of which are handicap accessible. All four units will be rented at a rate affordable to low-to-moderate-income families earning 80% of the area median family income or below (as determined by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development).
Buffalo Crossing was developed in 2024 by the City of Cross Plains with flood disaster recover funds provided as a grant through the General Land Office and is operated by the Cross Plains Housing Authority.
