Cross Plains Housing Authority: Your Home Awaits

Cross Plains Housing Authority is currently accepting new applications to get on the waiting list.  Your place on the waiting list will depend on the apartment size and future availability.  To ensure you place in line, please make sure to fill out all sections thoroughly, and have updated contact information at all times. 

Please note: Current wait times are approximately one year.

 Your eligibility for this program depends on the following:

• Annual gross income or government benefit amount
• US citizenship or eligible immigration

The Cross Plains Housing Authority will check references that you put on your application, as well as your criminal history, credit history, and rental history to make sure that you will be a good addition to the housing project.

We know that pets are family too. That's why we offer pet-friendly apartments.  Each resident is allowed one furry friend.  A pet deposit and current shot records will be required. 

 If you're looking to apply for affordable housing in Cross Plains, you'll have to fill out an application to get on the waiting list.  You will need to download the application below to print and fill it out at home.  If you are unable to print the application, you can come by the office during business hours and pick up an application in person.  All applications must be filled out and signed in ink.  Please make sure you fill out the application completely.  You can return the filled application to the office, or mail  it  to:

When returning your application, we will also need:

• A copy of your current driver's license, government-issued I.D., military ID, or Passport
• A copy of your birth certificate or naturalization paperwork
• A copy of your social security card 
• A form of verification of income (i.e.  paycheck stubs, SSI letters,  bank statements, etc.)

After we receive your application, you will be added to the waiting list for the next available apartment.
